Allowing them to stay will grant you extra reputation gains with the Wastelander Refugees faction, and they will be very grateful, and share info about parts of the base they have explored - including the traps in the armory and the broken bot in the garage.In fact, these refugees were partly responsible for the base defense system going haywire upon your arrival, and they will plead with you to let them stay - as they are not welcome in Colorado Springs.
